There are some businesses which have done surprisingly well during the pandemic, and there are some which cannot wait for things to fully reopen so that they can make up for the time which they have lost. One industry in particular which is going to do well is environmental services. Business owner Arie Eric de Jong was speaking recently about the industry and exactly why it will begin to make much more money once the pandemic is over and things once again reopen.

During the pandemic these companies have found it naturally difficult to make money and whilst they have been supporting hospitals and private businesses, it is very much in the future that things will take a turn for the best, and here is why.

Increased Events

Most of the human race is like a coiled spring at the moment and we cannot wait to get out once again and enjoy ourselves. This is why we can certainly expect to find a plethora of events in the coming months, outdoor events in particular. Something which environmental services offer, and where they do make a great deal of their money, is on portable toilets, and no outdoor event would be complete without them.

Another reason why rentals of these toilets could be even more profitable is that construction sites are also going to reopen.

Sanitization

It is broadly expected that the rules around places opening up is that they have sanitization stations. This is absolutely what we will see in businesses around the world, and who will be providing those stations? Environmental services of course. These companies are going to do a roaring trade in these stations and they can not only provide the stations, but they will be able to service them for the business so that hand sanitizer and soap are always on hand to encourage people to wash their hands.

Fencing Off

It is highly unlikely that things are just going to reopen and go back to normal, what we should be expecting is that things will open, yet the situation will prove to be completely different from what we once knew. One particular aspect of this will be the maintenance of social distancing. The issue with this is that many people don’t respect the rules around social distancing, and for that reason businesses will have to take action. One area which environmental services can help with is the fencing off of areas, and this will prove to be a great way to manage people and to keep them in order when they are at events or when they visit businesses.

Things have been tough within this industry, much like they have been for so many others. Hopefully however, as things once again begin to open up and things can back to some semblance of normal, environmental services will be able to offer some great options which can help businesses to stay safer as they reopen to the public.
