There are coaches for both individual athletes and sports teams in every sport. The coach’s job is to develop players into the best players they can be and to take your team past its potential. This requires complete dedication and an understanding of the game, people, and how to motivate them. When you start out as a coach you will likely have a players who are not very good and it will be your job to get them to perform better and stay healthy and fit. You will take the lead from rom leading exercise drills to teaching new athletic skills. You might be the only or one of several different coaches and you might choose to focus on one or all aspects of the game. In the end, you’ll be performing duties in your role as a coach that will prepare your players for game day. This will also include off the field training meaning getting your players ready emotionally to focus on the game no matter what is happening in their personal lives. If you become good and get your team to perform well, you will win lots of accolades and may even get paid. Today the best coaches make salaries in the millions of dollars per year.
