After a year of social distancing, handwashing and lockdown, one thing everyone can agree on is that the pandemic hit organizations badly. As a consequence, many organizations have gone under, and some more are struggling to survive.
For the few that have thrived despite the challenges, it means they have done things differently. Due to this, we must learn the things they have done differently to be applied to other endeavours.

Proper Preparation For Challenges
As an organization, we wouldn’t be totally honest if we said we saw the pandemic coming. Like every other organization, we didn’t anticipate it. What we, however, anticipated was a situation of emergencies that might paralyze our usual activities.
Because of this, we were able to prepare ahead. When the pandemic came, we applied what we have on the ground to the prevailing situations. This made it easy for us to quickly switch and adapt.
Quick Switch To The Future Of Work
When the pandemic was in its prime, we knew we couldn’t continue like this. So, we decide to change to what is properly referred to as the future of work.
All our activities were held virtually, except the ones that intricately needed physical contact. This allowed us to continue our daily activities while maintaining the precautions for good health.
The level of preparation and easy switch didn’t come without a reward. Consequently, we were awarded a contract to assist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Department of Unemployment Assistance Program.
Proper Management of Contact and Tracing
As an organization, we knew we had a responsibility to care for those we work with and those around us. This was why we quickly set up the management and tracing of contacts.
This helped to manage the cases that could have escalated and crippled our operations. This way, we continued our job non-stop virtually all through the period of the pandemic.
With this, we brought the situation under control. Because of this, we can boldly prepare for the post-pandemic period when others are striving to survive.
Tailoring Our Operations To Finding Solution
Our story would not be complete if we didn’t say how we also faced some challenges. However, we were able to focus our operations on finding a solution to our problems. This way, we became better capable of finding solutions to other things like polishing the process of the Covid-19 vaccination registration and scheduling for the 75+ years old residents of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
We are pleased to announce that F.H. Cann & Associates has been awarded a contract to manage the COVID-19 vaccination registration and scheduling for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
